Training God’s Leaders through Academic Excellence

Our school is an extension of the body of Christ with a commitment to establishing and maintaining an effective partnership with parents and local churches. Just as Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52) our school strives to be a place where our students will grow, adding to their faith virtue and to virtue, knowledge (II Peter 1:5). As a school, we celebrate each student’s uniqueness and provide opportunities for students to grow in their God-given gifts, talents, and personality so they can understand their role in today’s world, equipped for kingdom service (Prov. 2:1-5). This philosophy extends to highly skilled and credentialed faculty who place a strong emphasis on academic quality, integrated with Biblical truth and integrity. Small class sizes provide significant interaction between students and teachers.

PCS is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. These accredidations are important endorsements of our proven academic excellence.

The results of this visionary, yet practical educational blueprint have been impressive. In the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment – the standardized tests given to students in 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 11th grades throughout the Commonwealth – Plumstead Christian School ranked among the top schools (both public and private) in Montgomery and Bucks Counties in Reading and Math.

In addition, our eight Advanced Placement (AP) courses, as well as our dual enrollment and honors programs, are considered in many ways our capstone courses in the various disciplines.  The 2016 results on these exams offer an important snapshot of the academic success of our programs at large as well as the college-readiness that our graduates demonstrate.
