Everybody’s path to Plumstead Christian School is different. Whether you heard about us at church or through a PCS family, the following sections detail both recommended and required steps in the admissions process. 1. Contact Admissions
We invite you to call our Director of Admissions, Mrs. Laurie Meyer, if you have any questions about Plumstead Christian School. Through this initial conversation we can answer any questions you have about our school. Alternatively, you may complete our online inquiry form and we’ll reach out to you with additional information that will help assist you with one of the most important decisions you will make for your children.
2. Visit our Campuses
At PCS, we believe the real test of our school is how our faculty, staff, and students present themselves in person. That is why we offer Open Houses, Private Tours, and Shadow Days to preview our school by appointment. We invite you to join us to experience the Plumstead Christian School Community. It will be our privilege for us to get to know and serve your family.
Complete the online application and provide all requested supplemental forms and materials along with the application fee. We do not have deadlines for the admissions process, but available spaces for Fall classes may reach capacity as the Spring or Summer come to a close.
4. Entrance Testing
Upon receipt of all application materials (with supplemental forms), including receipt of the testing fee, parents will be contacted to schedule entrance testing. Testing is required for students applying for Kindergarten through grade 12.
Following receipt of your completed application (with all supplemental forms) and completion of entrance testing, the Admissions Office will contact parents, if necessary, to set up a family or student interview with the School Principal and/or Head of School.
6. Admissions Committee Review
Following the interview, student applications will be presented to the Admissions Committee for review. Parents will be notified regarding acceptance within two weeks following the interview.
7. Variable Tuition
Following acceptance, families may apply for variable tuition. Variable Tuition forms are to be completed and submitted to the business office for processing and review. Variable Tuition rate decisions are not made by the admissions office and will be communicated to you by the Business Office.
