In Pursuit of Creative Excellence

Recognized for its outstanding visual art, drama, and music programs, the fine arts department seeks to recognize and develop God-given gifts of creativity and talent to their fullest potential – to the honor and glory of God.  Nearly 40 years of combined teaching experience in the arts has resulted in excellence that extends from the classroom to the stage.

“We have been so thankful for the PCS music program under Miss Wolfskill’s leadership. Anna is thriving from her teaching and musical expertise, as well as from her godly example.
This is the first year Anna has participated in District Band, District Orchestra, and Regional Band. Each festival provided her with an opportunity to be challenged and inspired by wonderful conductors and outstanding fellow musicians. We are so grateful Anna had such fantastic first time experiences with these events! The Region VI Band Concert at Octorara was particularly phenomenal and one that Anna will remember for the rest of her life. The conductor, the music, the hosts, and the facilities were all top notch. It will be hard to surpass Anna’s experience working under Dr. Boonshaft, the conductor at the Octorara festival.
We are so grateful that Miss Wolfskill adequately prepares and encourages students to audition for these events. Not only do students receive an excellent music education at PCS, but they also see Miss Wolfskill model a life of giving glory to God through music. It is hard to find a fine arts program in which God is glorified. We are so thankful for the solid Christian foundation Anna is receiving in the PCS music program.”Lane and Marcia Sattler
