At Plumstead Christian School, we believe that God can use the power of storytelling and the dramatic arts to impart truth about who He is, who we are, and how we should live.
Students learn to work with and serve one another and the community though the many aspects of play production. They are encouraged to analyze the ways dramatic performances influence our culture, thinking, and behaviors.
Annually our PCS theater groups perform a 4th/5th grade musical, a junior high drama in the spring, a high school drama in the fall, and a high school musical in the spring. Additionally, high school actors participate in one or more theater competitions in the spring each year. Through these creative experiences students discover, explore, and hone their God-given gifts to their fullest potential and experience the inner workings of theater from costuming, set-building, and make-up to various aspects of stage production and direction.
