Week of 5/18-5/23
Junior right fielder Josh Ruch gets the honor for his performance in the varsity baseball team’s district playoff game vs. DELCO. Josh went 3/4 and had some great plays in the outfield. Great job Josh, way to “step up to the plate!” When it matters most!
Week of 5/11-5/16
Senior Softball player Sophie Kent! Sophie had a batting average of .429 and an on base percentage of .500. She displayed the leadership of a seasoned veteran and was the emotional spark plug that took Plumstead down the stretch of their season against the giants of the BAL. Sophie also controlled the defense having a fielding percentage of .949. Great Job Sophie!
Week of 5/4-5/9
Junior Track and Field runner Noah Klinger! Noah came in 1st in the 100 at the ACSI meet and also set a new school record! Noah is also part of the 4X1 and 4X2 teams that also set new school records. Great job Noah!
Week of 4/27-5/2
Sophomore pitcher and shortstop Brock Hewitt! He was 5 for 6 at the plate with 4 runs, 2 doubles, 3 rbi s. He also had 6 IP and 8 K s to get a big win over Faith that helped the team make districts! Great season Brock!
Week of 4/20-4/25
Junior varsity softball pitcher Sara Hastoglis!!! She batted .429 this week with 2 walks, 5 RBI and 4 runs scored. Pitched to a record of 1-2 but pitched well throughout. She recorded an ERA of 5.25 and averaged 4 K’s/game. She has moved up and down the order but the impressive part of her game has been the evolution of her pitching. Sarah has gained confidence on the mound and cut down on the walks. Great job Sara!!!
Week of 4/13-4/18
Junior softball player Anna Robinson. Anna batted.462 for the week with 7 walks and 13 runs scored. Her coach says, “Anna is also one of the best defenders on the team and using both her arm and glove to defend center field, recording 5 Put Outs and 1 Assist.” Great job Anna!
Week of 4/6-4/10
Junior Track runner Paige Hawthorne! Paige was 3rd in the 200m in the teams first meet on Tuesday. From her coach, “Her PRs are 68.07 in the 400m, 28.9 in 200m, and 14.02 in the 100m. She’s a strong starter who has consistently led off the 4×100 at every meet, including Penn Relays.” Great job Paige! Keep running the race!
Week of 4/23-4/28
Congrats to our newest athlete of the week, Senior tennis player Kyle Seelig had the only win vs Devon Prep defeating his opponent 6-0, 6-0!
Week of 3/16-3/21
Congrats to our first Remax Legacy athlete of the week for the spring season Junior Tennis player Chris Maxel. Chris won his 3rd singlesmatch vs Palisades 6-3, 7-6 last week. Great job Chris!
