Plumstead Christian School Valentine’s Dinner and Auction
Heartfelt Thanks: PCS Valentine’s Dinner Auction
It was a memorable evening as patrons, friends, faculty and guests enjoyed the first Plumstead Christian School Valentine’s Dinner Auction on Saturday, February 13.
The Spring Mill Country Club in Ivyland was decorated to reflect the
Valentine’s theme of the event. After a time of reviewing the auction items, the participants enjoyed a performance by renowned opera singer (and PCS patron) Alan Held. As they helped themselves to a delicious buffet dinner, the participants began bidding on the nearly 250 items in the silent auction on display. As the tables were closed for bidding, and the coffee and dessert were being served, the live auction began, which featured dozens of unique items, including a riding mower, diamond earrings, and a car.
In addition to the army of staff and volunteers who invested hours in the effort to make the Dinner Auction a success, several PCS students helped by delivering items to the winning bidders’ vehicles.
Throughout it all, the money raised through the Dinner Auction will go directly to benefit PCS’ operational and educational efforts. If you have any suggestions to make next year’s event even better – please contact Mrs. Connie Brautigam at 215-766-8073 or cbrautigam@plumsteadchristian.org.
