The objective of the drama program is to equip students to clearly articulate their physical and spiritual voices – responding to the truth of God’s Word. Throughout the year, elementary through high school students are challenged to examine and respond to the concepts and themes of differing authors and genres.
Students are given the opportunity to explore a Biblical understanding of their characters and the world they portray. Each performance focuses on acting techniques, stage and theatre terminology, historical theatre, and various aspects of stage production, including costuming, set-building, prop-making and direction.
In addition to on-campus productions students often use their gifts to serve the community and participate in festivals and competitions.
