Student Activity Calendar

The American Heart Association recommends that children 2 years and older should participate in at least 60 minutes of enjoyable, moderate-intensity physical activity every day! To encourage each student to reach this goal, he or she can earn a dress down day card each month just for being active. Read the note to parents from our PE instructor for all of the details.  You can also print an Activity Calendar if you need one.

Champs

Champs4Parents of preschoolers: Beginning Thursday, September 21, please join us on Thursday mornings for a FREE parent and child(ren) play group.  We meet at our Lower School for fun and fellowship where you and your child(ren) can participate in a playtime consisting of free play from 8:30-9:00, then structured activities from 9:00-10:15 When you arrive, sign-in at the office and then head to room 8 (Pre-K room) to join the fun. To register, please contact Jennifer Weaver at jweaver@plumsteadchristian.org.

Purchase of a personalized, commemorative tile!

Now that we have officially opened our new activity center, we are also going public with our capital campaign, “Building for Excellence.” This campaign focuses on Students of Excellence, Faculty of Excellence, and Facilities of Excellence. Please consider purchasing a personalized, commemorative tile that will be assembled into a beautiful mosaic to be part of the permanent bench located in the foyer of the new Activity Center. This purchase contributes to this capital campaign, demonstrates your support of the school, and inspires others to do the same!

PCS art teacher, Mary DeClerico, will hand-craft each tile complete with a custom inscription (e.g. your family name, “in honor of…,” or “in memory of…”). We are also challenging each graduating class to collect enough money to buy a custom tile to represent their graduating class (e.g. Class of 1985, Class of 2025). We are hoping class reps will spearhead these projects, collect the money, and order the tiles. If we sell more tiles than can fit the bench, the mosaic will expand beyond the bench.

Directions for how to PUT YOUR OWN PERSONAL STAMP ON OUR NEW ACTIVITY CENTER can be found here.
