Volunteering at PCS

Get involved! Become a Volunteer!

IMG_6113On any given day, the halls at both the Lower and Middle/Upper campuses will find the smiling faces and willing hands of volunteer parents and grandparents giving of their time and energy to the success of PCS students. Some of the volunteer opportunities include office duties, serving lunches, coordinating student fundraising efforts, chaperoning field trips, or even taking on more responsibility as a homeroom parent, making a meal, or selling food through our Booster Club (Panther Pride) at a home sporting event. Being a PCS volunteer is a fulfilling experience through fellowship with others while supporting the school through selfless service.

As you prayerfully seek volunteer opportunities, we encourage you to consider how God has uniquely created you and where you see your abilities, experiences, personality and your passions fitting in because you are a valuable and necessary part of Christ’s body at PCS and we need you!

Volunteer Clearances are required for all PCS family members who plan to volunteer at Plumstead Christian School. We welcome and encourage volunteers in our school and classrooms and want to ensure the safety of the students and staff. As a measure to ensure the safety of the students and staff, Plumstead requires that volunteers who have direct contact with students submit a PA Child Abuse Clearance,  PA State Criminal History Record , and an FBI Criminal Background Record. If a volunteer has not lived outside of Pennsylvania during the past 10 years, he/she can submit a signed affidavit in lieu of the FBI Criminal Background Check. These clearances must be updated every five years.
