The Annual Dinner Auction provides Plumstead Christian School funds to enhance elementary and secondary programs, meet annual operating costs, and fund faculty bonuses and tuition assistance. This is a very important fund-raiser for our school. During our past two Dinner Auctions we raised over $90,000! Thank you to all who have helped make our past and current auctions successful!
At this year’s “Taste of Bucks” Dinner Auction guests mingled with others, browsed and bid on an array of Silent Auction items, and feasted on a delicious assortment of foods from the carving station, pasta station and butlered hors d'oeuvres! Guests also enjoyed entertainment from our own PCS Madrigals as well as sneak previews from our high school musical “The Wizard of Oz.”
This year’s auction included many fun and varied PCS Life items (class & teacher feature items) which have been such a success the past two years!! Guests enjoyed shopping and bidding on some exciting big ticket items such as a generator, laptop, vacation homes, romantic horse and carriage ride and picnic, and a two day mini backhoe rental. We also had many gift certificates for dinners, movies, jewelry, spas, golfing, and more. From hard to find household items to sporting goods your kids will die for - we had it all.
Through this important fund-raiser, PCS is able to share their mission not only with the PCS circle, but into the community as well - demonstrating to everyone that we are a school that provides a caring environment where students are educated to think Biblically, serve effectively and lead Christ-centered lives. Again, we offer a big thank you to all who came and enjoyed this opportunity, and spent an evening with friends and family in support of Plumstead Christian School.
