President George W. Bush to speak at Plumstead Christian School’s 2011-2012 Founders Forum
President George W. Bush, 43rd President of the United States, will be the keynote speaker at Plumstead Christian School’s annual Founders Forum Tuesday, April 24, 2012 on the campus of Calvary Church in Souderton, PA.
In his two terms as 43rd President of the United States, President Bush led the country through eight of the most significant years in American history, and he is remembered most significantly for his leadership in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
Prior to his presidency, President Bush served six years as Governor of Texas where he earned a reputation for his bipartisan governing approach and his compassionate conservative philosophy, which was based on limited government, personal responsibility, strong families, and local control.
President Bush will be the first U.S. president to speak at Plumstead Christian School’s Founders Forum. Previous Forums have attracted some of the nation’s most influential Christian voices to Plumstead Christian School including former Vice President Dan Quayle, columnist and commentator Cal Thomas, author and former missionary Elisabeth Elliott, Christian leader and co-founder of the Moral Majority, the late Jerry Falwell, and, most recently, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
“We are honored that President Bush will be coming to Bucks County to speak with our students and the larger Plumstead Christian School community,” said PCS Head of School Patrick Fitzpatrick. “We’re especially looking forward to his visit because we know that President Bush’s personal message mirrors our own mission to teach students to think Biblically, serve effectively, and lead Christ-centered lives.”
All proceeds will directly benefit Plumstead Christian School as it seeks to fulfill its mission in the lives of its students.
