Our annual Spring Fair was marked with beautiful weather, a great turnout, and lots of fun and fellowship, as Plumstead Christian School opened its Plumstead campus to the community.
The excitement of the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund 5K Run/Walk kicked off the day, with more than 70 participants following the course leading to the campus. Half of the proceeds will benefit the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, which awards college scholarships to the children of American Military Heroes who have sacrificed life or limb.
The Spring Fair featured many of the traditions of past events, as well as some new and exciting activities. Games, rides, inflatables and other good-times for children of all ages (specifically the teenagers) made the day fun for the Fairgoers. The Book Fair, Fitzpatrick Irish Step Dancers and Ronald MacDonald joined the Children’s Carnival, Plant Sale, and Car Show. And of course, the delicious food – the bake sale, the famous strawberry pies, chicken Caesar salads, meatball sandwiches, along with chicken barbeque and sausage dinners.
The Annual Spring Fair benefits the PCS’ educational and operational financial needs.
We praise God for His provision and the success of the event…And now, we’re getting ready for the 2011 Spring Fair: Saturday, April 30!
